“Happy” 1 Junk Journal

Introducing “Happy” 1 Junk Journal!  Remember the Challenge #1 “Happy” Kit?  This is only half of that kit.  The buttons, small doily,  wool scraps and ribbon are featured on the front cover . . .

Back cover includes half of the multi-colored, crocheted doily, fabric scraps, lace strip, and embroidered snippet.  Front and back covers are stitched with the included embroidery thread.  The spine of the book is covered with one of the satin ribbons . . .

This junk journal contains 50 pages and measures 5″ wide x 7″ tall x 1.5″ thick. The  pages are made with a Paper Bundle for Mixed Media and once again only a fraction of the kit was needed to complete the “Happy” 1 Junk Journal . . .

Inside front cover features a Mexican worry doll mounted on a tag and the quote “Happiness is contagious, Don’t wait to catch it, from others. Be a carrier.”  Hand-painted gel paper is used to decorate the  first page.  Notice the tiny blue clothespin  . . .

Below you see a random inventory check list that you can glue photos into your “Happy” junk journal.  Also, another hand-painted gel paper . . .

Doilies, flashcards, stamps, stickers, and tags are used as decorations throughout the book . . .

Here, a small envelope is attached to a music page with blank papers for you to write on . . .

Tabs mark certain pages with happy images inserted and there are several colored paper clips to hold more things . . .

A bookmark can be moved where ever you need to mark a place in the “Happy” 1 Junk Journal . . .

Small notebook papers are stapled onto this page for more extensive drawing or writing . . .

The back inside cover has puzzle pieces and another quote – “It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy that makes us happy.”

The spine and bookmark are tied with ribbons and make the “Happy” 1 Junk Journal totally unique.
