Description
Also introducing, “Happy” 2 Junk Journal. The other half of the Challenge #1 “Happy” Kit. So much fun, brightly colored fabric, threads, doily pieces, lace scraps, and satin ribbon left when I finished the first “Happy” journal covers that I just had to use them all up. More slow stitching and embroidery with a cute green clothespin accent . . .
This is what junk journaling is all about . . . turning the bits and pieces into a finished project. The back cover includes a section on the multi-colored crocheted doily, and the last section of satin ribbon . . .
The “Happy” 2 Junk Journal includes 52 pages and measures 5″ wide x 7″ tall x 1.5″ thick. The interior is made from some of the things included in the Paper Bundle for Mixed Media package. There are still left overs after making two complete journals . . .
Quotes are used on the inside front and back covers and a page inside . . .
“I have found that most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” Abraham Lincoln
“Happiness is contagious. Don’t wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier.”
“It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes us happy.”
Pages are made from graph, theme, ledger, doilies, music, old books, colored illustrations, and hand-painted gel papers . . .
So many great embellishments including, envelopes, bookmarks, tags, tabs, ribbons, stickers, rick rack, colored paper clips and index cards, and a Mexican worry doll.
This “Happy” 2 Junk Journal is finished with yarn-like ribbons decorating the spine and separate coordinating bookmark.
